Permaculture Gardens
Permaculture is a concept of design that uses the principles of organic growing in an holistic garden system. It involves a commitment to sustainability and encourages individuals and communities to become involved and responsible for their environment, as an alternative to just a "use and throw away" mentality.

Designed and built by young unemployed people through a youth training incentive, Earthwise's gardens are one of the best examples of urban permaculture Perth has to offer and everyone will be free to wander and admire the gardens at the event.

Sustainable Technology and Permaculture Tours

At 2.30pm and 4pm each day, Earthwise will be hosting FREE tours.

Learn all about the beautiful and productive permaculture gardens and the venue's extensive alternative technology.

Earthwise Op Shop

Pick up a bargain at the extensive Earthwise Op Shop housed in the "old Church" part of the building. There are clothes, books, toys and household items, along with plenty of Upcycling resources!

And did you know that the Earthwise Op Shop is one of the very few in Perth which sells safety-checked, used electrical items?

As well as hunting for treasure, why not bring your unwanted goods to donate to Earthwise?

All sales and donations aid Earthwise's excellent work including a food centre and community lunches for disadvantaged people, along with its great sustainability work.
